A new year could be a great way to know about your Money Habitudes!!


What is money habitude? It's a quick, fun and effective way to help you discover your money personality. Wouldn't that be cool?


What if you knew what your money personality was? Research shows that money is one of the hardest things to talk about- especially it's Impact on emotional expression. According to journal paper from Science Direct, money is emotional and it has many variants.


Yet still further research, "According to neuroeconomists (Zweig, 2007), “…a monetary loss or gain is not just a financial or psychological outcome, but a biological change that has profound physical effects on the brain and body.” Financial losses are processed in the same areas of the brain that respond to mortal danger, while the neural activity of someone experiencing financial gains is indistinguishable from that of someone who is high on cocaine". WOW!


Knowing your money habitude could make it fun and easy to talk and win with your money.


Remember the first time you bought something with you own money? What was it?

How did you get the money? How did you feel once you got the item? Did you have positive or negative feelings ?


First, acknowledge that talking about money can feel awkward. But it's important.

Second, acknowledge it's personal and no two people have the same money experience?

Third, it's ok not to have money skills but it's NOT ok not to learn new money skills.
