Remember the first time you bought something with you own money? What was it?
How did you get the money? How did you feel once you got the item? Did you have positive or negative feelings ?
First, acknowledge that talking about money can feel awkward. But it's important.
Second, acknowledge it's personal and no two people have the same money experience?
Third, it's ok not to have money skills but it's NOT ok not to learn new money skills.
